 Credit cards certainly make life easier when you want to make a purchase but do not have the cash on hand that will enable you to make the purchase outright. For many people they do cause them to go into financial debt when they do not handle them properly. In spite of this, there are many advantages to using a credit card.
When you book a hotel, whether you do so online, by telephone or in person, you will be unable to reserve a room without having a credit card number. You do not have to pay for the room with the credit card, but you must have one in order to make the booking. This is because when you check out, if the hotel staff find that you have caused any damage to the room, they will put the amount of the damages on your credit card.
